Understand the Rescue Narrative
Lobby text and in-floor signs reference the child who once played hide-and-seek here. Objectives now push you toward:
- Rooms with child-themed props, broken toys, or whisper audio cues.
- Keys and wall papers in high corners — same search priority as Level 2 safes.
- Mid-floor safes gated until you collect ritual items echoing Level 5.
Do not rush the exorcism before rescue flags complete — HUD order soft-locks some seeds if you skip child rooms.
Search Priority by Wing
Level 9 spawn variance is extreme. Reliable process beats memorized room numbers:
- Clockwise outer-ring sweep — mark first TV or code paper immediately.
- Clear wardrobes on the perimeter before entering inner ritual rooms.
- When HUD pings proximity, split team: watcher in hall, searcher in room.
- Deposit ritual items at staging tables when prompts appear — wrong slots waste hotbar time.
Spirit bells and spray paint pay for themselves on first Level 9 attempts.
Survival During Composite Rituals
Level 9 ritual segments mirror Level 5:
- Place plate/photo analogs on marked tiles before burn or light sequences.
- Hide inside ritual wardrobes during Tier 3 hunts — exiting early cancels animations.
- Popper + onigiri before post-ritual box hunt; PETAPETA speed peaks here among standard hotel floors.
Ofuda is emergency space — create distance to finish interactions, not to fight PETAPETA in open halls.
After Clear — Level 10 and Stage Select
Beating Level 9 unlocks Level 10 and advances Chapter 2 access. Use Stage Select afterward to farm Zeni without replaying Levels 1–8.
