Doll Sweep Route Strategy
Start clockwise from spawn, opening every guest room. Priority spots: behind wardrobes, upper shelves, tatami corners. Mark rooms with spray paint after clearing to avoid triple-checking empty wings.
Grab dolls in any order but save the fifth pickup until you are one door from a wardrobe during calm windows — fifth doll coincides with hunt pressure spikes on many seeds.
Star Pattern Logic
In Doll Room, compare table placement positions to wall star vertices. Colors randomize — describe dolls aloud ("red checkered, blue stripe") if colorblind.
Wrong placements rarely give explicit error text — swap dolls until table glow or interaction unlocks. Do not leave room mid-puzzle during hunts; wardrobes inside Doll Room are limited — enter early if screen reddens.
Root of Grudges Handoff
On success, grab Root of Grudges photo and ofuda. Verify photo in inventory before queuing Level 5 — missing photo soft-locks ritual burn.
Exorcise in hallway standard fashion. Bank Zeni for Level 5 poppers immediately after clear.
Common Failure Points
Deaths happen from:
- Sprinting fifth doll pickup during Tier 3 hunts.
- Star pattern guess from outdated YouTube screenshots.
- Forgetting wardrobes inside Doll Room during post-puzzle hunt.
Replay Level 3 circle-back training if Level 4 feels unfair — mechanics stack directly.
